Hey all
Just noticed that the PA4X-76 has jumped up in price here by around 20%
Can't be anything to do with exchange rates because our $ is strong at the moment.
Has this happened in your country?
PA4X-76 has been selling for AUD4,800-$4,999 everywhere until I noticed the change last night - now it's AUD5,800+
This makes the Genos seem psychologically "cheaper" (at AUD7,000)

Here in Italy Pa4X-76 price is 3.100,00 euro, Genos price is 4.199,00 euro.

Although its probably not fair to comment on Genos without the pending reference manual and a hands on approach.. so only going by some early demo videos and one Genos customer who also has a PA4X on the yamaha forum who is feeling a little underwhelmed by his new Genos then im not sure how yamaha have come in so very high with the price of Genos especially compared to PA4X which is starting to look like the bargain of the century (here in the UK) in comparison

Maybe the people that price PA's in your area have heard the Genos at 7,000 and realized that the PA4X was too much of a bargain after comparing the two. Figuring on making more of a profit on the underpriced Korg PA.

Unfortunately we live not in USA, what means everything cost hundreds more.-
Just for the records, meanwhile in USA PA4x costs U$S 3700 (new in box with attached stand, banquet, cords, headphones), i paid for it (a month ago) with discount U$S 4950, what means my final cost was 1/3 more than buying on USA.- The reason TAXES, TAXES, TAXES, and more TAXES.-
The same happend to me when i bought my Kronos.-
So my suggestion to you, don't feel sad, just enjoy those "beast" and dream on next "magician keyboard" Korg will produce.-

Again me. By the way Genos cost in USA (Sweetwater) U$S 5499.-
If you compare with our loved PA4x, Genos costs 37% more.-
Genos price is absolutely unjustified.

| I am from Serbia, here new one is 2700 euros, but in Macedonia new pa4x is 2400 euro... |
