Welcome to the forum.
It has been already added in wish-list a while ago.
Thanks. |
That software (or app) needs to include the Songbook Editor also!
So you have all the options and settings available in ONE application.
This could also largely enhance compatiblity when changing from one PA to another (newer) version.
This is a real pain in the ... even from PA3X to PA4X (just as it was from PA500 to PA800 and from PA800 to PA3X).
Korg really needs to do something (better) about that. Software might be the key. _________________ Musical grtz, Frans

Maybe you know this already, but just to be sure:
you can use back light for the buttons in PA4X, see Global - Interface.
Of course this is only available for buttons containing an LED. | Thanks Fransman for pointing to this option.
Yes I know this feature and mine is at maximum but it does not help in a bad lighting condition unlike GEM WK8 that allowed to see the name of each button in the front panel..
Thanks anyway. |

In that case, this will not be possible in an OS update, but it will need changes in the hardware.
You'll need to wait for PA5X I'm afraid. _________________ Musical grtz, Frans

I know that it's a wish list for future OS update or upgrade.
I suggested to MonseyPlayer to add a category Hardware/Design (even though it will be for next Pa series, Pa5X), just in case somebody from Korg company read this topic.
Just FYI, even with this wish list that is targeted for future OS update, it is not certain that Korg will add all of our OS update wish list...
Just my 2 c...
Thanks |

Great idea to add the category you suggested!
It's not even certain if there will be a new OS update for PA4X at all, but let's hope so.
Some things may be easy to implement. _________________ Musical grtz, Frans

I could definitely use a playback "from-to" range selector in Style Record mode. It's useful in particular if you have a long Intro/Ending ...you make some changes to bar 18 or whatever and don't want to keep hearing the whole thing from bar 1.
Korg is already doing a good job with handling multiple time signatures assigned to different Style Elements....It'd be nice to be able to have that within the same Style element as well. _________________ Sam

Hi,
I would like a piece of software like Korg PA Manager. It would enable me to move things around easily.
It just annoys me that I would have to stump up £125 for the pleasure.
Any other Forum members interested in getting a copy, a three user license reduces the price to around £83.

In songbook/ preferences/ Columns, i would like also option
Name-Artist-Key-M.Transp.
Also, when making songbook entries and change styles to make new entry, genre and artist get cleared and i have to write manualy them for every new song which are the same genre or artist.
In global/mode preferences/style 2/Velocity control: Pad 1, 2, 3, 4 on/off |

Hi Guys, when I wrote my wish list and talked about the 16-track sequencer, I was referring to integrating an AUDIO sequencer. 16-track MIDI sequencer + 16-track AUDIO sequencer. the latter with the ability to edit events such as (CTRL, COPY OF TRACKS, DELETE OF MEASUREMENTS, MODULATION, TRANSPOSE, TEMPO TRACK, COPY OF THE REGION, DELETE THE REGION, COPY FROM SONG) possibility of mixing MIDI and AUDIO sequences. greetings Hans _________________ Hans

Like Kronos?
Kronos is quite hard to read at a higher res. _________________ PA4X-76, Karma, WaveDrum GE, Fantom 8 EX
