Hello all. I'm attempting to sequence some MIDI in Ableton, such that 3 separate sequences trigger each of the 3 VCO's simultaneously. Obviously, this is easily done with the onboard sequencer, but I'm having a hard time finding a way to translate this function to Ableton. Has anyone else run into this issue? plz help jbro

I'm quite sure this can only be done using the onboard sequencer.

Something like 3 MIDI tracks in Ableton, sending to the same MIDI channel of Volca?
Just make sure that each track is mono phonic (i.e. only one note at the time).
You could also merge the 3 track into one track, respecting that only 3 notes at a time can be set at the same time.

The Volca Bass will only play one single note at a time over MIDI. The only way to play the three oscillators independently of each other is by using the onboard sequencer.

I did find a plugin that allows for one to play the volca bass like a 3 voice polysynth, so my hope was that someone had taken the next step to make a sequencer plugin/set up that might accomplish what I want. It might be cool for Korg to (in a firmware update) make it so each VCO can be assigned to its own MIDI channel. That would make this thing truly incredible.

What do you mean for plugin to play the volca bass as polysynth?

Please KORG, give us three midi channels for the different oscillators!
