|

Hi. Is there a way or a suggested process that will make your programs sound exactly the same when you move them to a Combi. I've had a bad habit for many years that took at existing combi or performance and changed the sounds within it, not taking into consideration the eq's and effects etc. Does the kronos handle this more efficiently given all the insert/masterefx/eq flexibility the instrument has? Is it best to start with a flat combi? Thanks _________________ Korg Kronos LS, Poly 61, Akai MPK261, MBP w/ Apple Mainstage, Yamaha CP-70B, Motif ES, EX5,MX61 Roland D70, Novation X-Station, |

The drop down menu in Combi mode will say ‘Copy from Program’. Use this. It will bring all the FX associated with it (if you tick the right boxes 😉 )
As you add more Programs into your Combi, you have to be careful to append them, or change IFX routings to fit everything into the one Combi. _________________ : Nord Stage 2 HA88 : Korg Kronos 61 : Korg Kronos 2 73 : MacBook Pro : |

Also, when doing 'Copy from Program', another thing to be aware of is the 3 Band Parametric EQ. This EQ exists in all HD-1 and EXi programs alike. However, unlike other program parameters that are reference by the combi, this EQ is copied (and stored) to the combi only if the 'Auto Load Prog EQ' is On. If Off, and the timbre has different EQ settings, the program may not sound the same. It is found on the Combi Timbre EQ tab, and thankfully, the default is on. Though it is good to be aware of. |
