HARDWARE WISH-LIST for FUTURE PA models (Hardware only)
Moderators: Sharp, X-Trade, Pepperpotty, karmathanever
When you have the bass and drums muted (main screen) I'd like to see a "lock" for these, so it makes it easier to trawl styles for accompaniment parts only.
As it is each time you try a style you need to exit the style picker windows, then re-mute bass and drums then go back to style windows.
Would make it a lot easier I reckon.

Better integration to a digital DAW and studio work.
--- Ability to record each of the 16 tracks on separate DAW tracks, digitally.
--- External editor for MIDI backing tracks, so not limited by the PA4x screen, interface and processor. Allow all vars, fills, intros and endings to be drag and dropped with the mouse onto the visual tracks. Allow cut, paste, add, delete, rearrange.

It would be useful to have on future model let's say a "DJ MODE", with beat detector and graphical track view...something like NI TraktorAmong other suggestions in this topic, I think that this addition would be awesome
instead of KAOSS is better to have DJaying tool !!!

It's already included in Pa600 Oriental and Pa700 Oriental versions, why not adding this feature to the future Pa5X Oriental or whatever the name will be for Oriental version.

Very wrong ! For several things... First, reset button is on totally bad positon. This is button when you want to react fast, and in this picture it is too far from keyboard, so it would need too much time to reach it.kofla wrote:THIS!!striphio wrote:This is my concept of a new arranger. .....

Second, tempo/dial and all stuff related to realtime arranger controls need to be on right side of a keyboard, because when you want to change tempo ,your left hand is changing chords, so right hand is free to react...Etc...
So ,if anyone important saw this picture, please, forget it.
STS transition issues needs to be fixed, please
Hello all,
I have a pa3x but considering getting a pa4x (although I am waiting to see if it is worth waiting for the new pa keyboard as we don't know when it will be released).
One of the major issues I am having with the pa3x is the STS transition issue; depending on what effects etc are assigned to the sounds when chaging from one STS to another it will suddenly cut all the effects and sounds and creaitng a very ugly transition; or something it keeps the effect and the newly selected STS have the effect from the previous STS for a second or so before loading its own effects; for example STS1 wah-wah guitar with lots of effects and STS2 Grand piano with little or no effect: changing between the STSs will be almost terrible. Specially advanced players might have noticed this issue.
Does anyone know or experience this issue with the Pa4x? Hope my description of the issue is clear. I know that many have this issue with the pa3x but hoping this issue was rectified with the pa4x as the problem was mentioned many times before the release of the PA4x.
If the pa4x have this issue, this needs to be fixed.
Thank you,
Murat

Korg Pa5X88, Ketron Event, Rme FF802, Yamaha HS8, Cubase, VSL, EWQL, Kontakt, Spectrasonics, Motu Ethno ... ets ets but no time at all to play with.
I do not need full Arabic support in the OS, but I really need to be able to read the names of my MP3 files!
A big number of my MP3 music files in my library are named using standard Arabic characters, but unfortunately the MP3 player in my Korg Pa4X displays the Arabic characters as question marks!
I think it is extremely important to support the international standard "unicode characters" at least in the Song player section of the Korg Pa4X.
Please see how the names are currently displayed in the first 2 songs in the following screenshot:
