|
|
Hello,
For a few days I have an issue with an unintentional detune wich suddenly occurs. It always happens after using the joystick for a pitch bend during playing. After coming back to center, I'm playing some notes, without any bend, and suddenly the tune increase of some semitones. What I have to do then is moving a bit the joystick and Kronos is coming back to the right tune.
I know someone has done a video about replacing the joystick. But, at first, I would like you to tell me if someome have got this kind of problem and how you solved it.
Thanks a lot |

Hi Liviou2004,
This sounds exactly like the problem I had with my Kronos a while back. It sounded fine up until I started using the joystick, after that it would tend to detune a bit over time. And then, I could usually nudge the joystick a bit to make it get back in tune again. Also fine with SGX-1 and CX-3 because those don't support pitch.
Problem in my case was that the joystick is broken..
I took mine to the shop to get it repaired, as I don't have the right skills to open it up and replace it. Got it fixed before Christmas and the problem has been gone ever since. _________________ Gear: Korg Kronos 2 73, Arturia Microbrute & MiniBrute 2, Moog Mother-32, Ibanez RG320DXFM Guitar, ESP Viper 254FM Bass, Blackstar HT-1

Yup. Bad joystick. Mine did the same thing a couple of years ago. Replaced it, been fine ever since. If you're tech savvy, its not too bad to replace. Ordered mine from here
