Choosing a Fill with the Auto Fill + Variation combination. Fills are phrases that can be used for smoothly bridging between different sections of a song. Their density is similar to that of the same numbered Variations.

Style Element Suggested use
Fill 1 (lowest density)
Fill 2 (medium-low density)
Fill 3 (medium-high density)
Fill 4 (highest density)

*When the musical situation requires a change, press together the AUTO FILL button and the VARIATION button whose number corresponds to the Fill you want to choose. For example, if you want to choose Fill #3, press together the AUTO FILL and the VARIATION 3 buttons.
*If you want, choose a different Variation before the end of the Fill.

Sorry - didn't understand this - where is this from please?

Hi Pete .. yes this is a little confusing as the korg news link is not specific and would seem to imply this new(?) Fill-in mode are for all models but i think the the user notes are safe because this feature described above appears to not be applicable on the pa4x if you try to apply this.. but if you think about it without the two button shape description then reading through low to hight density relative to the fill-in button is this not what we have already? and how would you improve or add to this with out rewriting this for every style ??.... perhaps I am missing Somthing also ?

Two updates after 30 days: my opinion is that Korg has decided to introduce small changes more frequently instead of releasing a massive update every year. In the document there is written, in addition to the increase in the number of samples, also "General performance improvements", which means some code optimization was made. But, overall, it means that our Pa4X lives.

Increased maximum number of User Samples

i have never seen a message "Not enough numbers of User Samples"

but often "Not enough memory".

It would be better to implement more "Sampling Memory RAM" or "User Samples Streaming" on PA4X.

.. or to deliver a better user samples handling, becouse at the time it is not possible to work with more than 1 User Set with custom user sounds and user samples!
...and inpossible to merge several sets with the same usersounds slots.

Hi everyone

For someone like me who uses LOTS of memory (RAM), yes I have run out of number of samples, yet I still had some leftover RAM, and this update will definitely solve my problem.

Hopefully every other suggestions done by us will be answered in the near future, in a major update.

Thank you Korg

Voice Preset no longer saved with Keyboard Sets and Styles [O.S v1.2]

lapse, error error, bad decision!

Example:
Style playing:
KBD SET 1 in STYLE stored vocal preset ELVIS (used in the base of the song)

KBD SET 2 in STYLE stored vocal preset TRIO BAND (used in the base of the song)

I had a choice while playing style. and I did not use SONG BOOK !!!!!

Return this feature back.

Do not take - do not forbid good things, please

return the Vocal Harmony setting to KEYBOARD SET to Style (STS 1-4)

I'm waiting for a BETTER operating system,
not unnecessary

Excuse KORG
- I can not use: chords recognition in a MIDI track (REMEDY problem)

- I can not currently use: Voice preset preset harmonics to the keyboard set 1-4 (STS1-4) 4Match 4 different settings! When using SONG BOOK, only 1 song setting. I lost 3 choices - the election - the choice!

These are the paths in the wrong direction.

I'm sorry that for MONEY - AGREEMENT-Trouble ????

Missing HARMONY vocals from MP3 audio.

it's sad that many musicians are still waiting for these patches or changes.

I write for many musicians, owners PA3X and PA4X INT, Pa4X musikant,
Many of these errors are also waiting for Pa4X to buy.

Nothing in the wrong - but reality
