Please help. I want to record myself playing something, save it on a USB, then put it on my computer. I can’t figure out how to do this. I don’t know how to save things.

Save to the computer to be used in what application? Audio file? Midi file?

Midi is more complicated to record and transfer for playback elsewhere.

So i am going to assume you want to make a wave file? That can record through sampling mode direct to USB, and then played back on kronos or on the computer wave file player or converter that converts to MP3 or such.

You want resample as the smapling setup, if you want to record yourself playing a program or combi.
You want to sample the L/R.

Anyway, i am not in the position to do a good step by step for you right now.

I hope someone can comment soon with a link or spell it out for you step by step.

Follow from the 8min, 15sec point of THIS VIDEO. The link should take you right to that spot.

Follow the same steps, except to record directly to USB, you can select DRIVE SELECT - RDD (or whatever the name of you external disk is), instead of HDD drive. Also, you can record anything to your HDD drive, then use DISK --UTILITY--COPY to save to whatever destination you choose.
