I have a Korg Krome 73. Can I copy a prog with effects etc. to an open combi location? if so, how?

Yes you can do it. Go to an open combi and then select the Copy from Program menu command. Select the timbre and other options and press OK. When you are copying IFX you can only use this command once per combi since you will be overwriting any previous IFX.

If you need to copy multiple programs and IFX the Copy Insert Effect menu command can be useful but remember you only have a limited number of IFX slots to work with.

Thanks for the above advice. I have used this copy function and ticked the MFX box but the reverb setting available on the original doesn't transfer across. If this isn't possible is it possible to duplicate these stereo chorus and reverb settings manually?

The proportion of Reverb or other effects from MFX depend on the send level. If you copy the MFX Reverb with all settings and return level 127 but the send is 64.Your Reverb will work 25%. The MFX work as a peripheral mixer rack and all MFX effects will work 50% wet and 50% direct. This is the reason that is not usual to have the Eq, Exciter, Limiters, Compressors on the MFx.
Is someday will need to have the MFX 100% wet, must to select the output L/R to Off.
