I just got my Prologue 16 a couple of days ago. I connected the USB cable and ran the firmware update. I also installed the USB driver.

I still can't get any midi information to be sent or received from the prologue to my DAW.

It's definitely communicating with computer as it runs the Korg APP for sending/receiving presets etc. I can also see in the input options - "Prologue Midi IN", "Prologue KBD/Knob". Output sections - "Prologue Midi OUT" and "Prologue SOUND".

I have the Prologue set up in Global settings to USB so I've got all the channels set up properly within the hardware. I've triple checked this.

I'm having a nightmare getting this to work as I need midi to work so I can record my hands on work while the midi plays back the prologue for me in my DAW.

I've tried contacting Korg NZ and UK; no one has come back to me with a response so I'm hoping some users in here can help me solve the issue.

Would really appreciate someone who knows how to deal with this issue. I also need to make sure it's not an issue with my Prologue.

Thanks in advance!

If you are PC have you run the 'Configure Korg MIDI driver setup' (after driver installation)?

If you are MAC have you invoked the audio/midi setup page at all? (it needs that to be open once for it to work, I believe)

You have clearly stated here that Prologue is communicating with your computer, have you used any other MIDI keyboards with your current DAW? My guess is you need to set it up as a device in what you are using. Good luck.
