Is there a thread with all known bugs? If not we should make one.

If you have the Kronos set to Power On Mode: Memorize (instead of Reset) then you might run into this bug while using MOD-7. If you save the program while in the Patch Panel window, the system will freeze if you try to go to GLOBAL right after bootup.

Not the worst bug in the world. You can get around it by simply exiting the patch panel screen before going into the Global settings. If you exit the Patch Panel pane and go back to it, the bug won't occur. As far as I can tell the freeze only happens if MOD-7's patch panel is the first thing you see, and attempting to go to GLOBAL is the first thing you do.

If anyone can replicate this bug that would be cool so we know it's a flaw in the OS and not an anomaly in a single unit.

Tried it on a couple of MOD-7 Programs, saving them with the patch screen displayed, rebooting, and, with the patch screen showing directly after boot up, going into Global mode. Seems fine this end.

Hi Charles,

It happened on mine as well after I tried what you mention. It is indeed not a big problem and for me not even one as I prefer the power on mode on reset. But an interesting find however. Cool

Another known one you could try to reproduce on your unit (and happens on my K2 as well) is the HD-1 LFO bug. This one was reported to Dan at Korg (see link for more info).

Are you running the most recent system update 3.1.2? What about the model, is it a Kronos 2 with wooden side panels?

It was tested on a Kronos X, running system v3.1.2.
