Have tried many times to use a microphone with my Pa4x, same every time. Hissing/whistling no matter what I try. Posted here many times about it. On the verge of giving up.

However today plugged the same mics Sennheiser e945 and Shure SM58 into my Pa1000 and bingo, great. Green gain light was constant without any adjustment, no feedback and TCHELECON working fine. Good clear sound and that’s with no “tweaking” at all. Well pleased.

Just thought I would post this in praise of the Pa1000.

I would give anything to use a microphone with my Pa4x.
