Hi JP,
if you press the HARDWARE-Style-Buttons ( Disco, Rock etc... ) on the left side more than once you can change the "pages" ( P1, P2 etc... ).
With an EC5 connected to your PA4X you can choose "Style-Up" or "Style-Down"
If you don´t have an EC5 : Ask a friend if he can build you a small adaptor ( normal button, no switch ! ) with a 6-pin plug to be connected to the PA4X. _________________ Greetings from East-Frisia, Germany

Thanks Snoopy for your response.
My problem is only the grey tabs on the left side are working ok and the first 2 style red tabs on the top left screen is working, I have the EC5 but I can't make any selection because the other part of the screen not working.
I try to push the HARDWARE-Style-Buttons like you say but didn't work.
I have some styles save on the Set list, so I am ok on that part.
I whish I have all songs on set list.
Thanks a lot

Hello
Any other suggestion on this topic?
I have about 100 user styles that I create but only 12 of them are available to me now because I have the se 12 in a set list.
I would like to know if you can use any buttons to change styles with out the touch screen.
Thank you very much

Hi JP
That must be SO frustrating.
As mentioned to you in a PM you could use the FCB1010 on the basis of selecting specific style (i.e. one per pedal setting) - I think you have 99 banks of 12 on it. Other than sending a MIDI PC/CC set up externally, I cannot think of another option.
Let me know how you go....

I don't remember having to actually set up anything on my keyboard - I'll try my FCB1010 shortly when I get my music room renovated.
Cheers

I see this video on Youtube about it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYNND5nMWhc&t=1614s.
I got this from one of the Forum members,
Hi Jpires:
What a bad accident......
Yes you can change your styles using dedicated buttons, the same as sounds and performances.-
Meanwhile, you can conect a video monitor (see back of the keyboard) to video output of your kyb. I don't test it, but surely it will show the same screen displayed on your broken one.- Also it won't be a touchscreen, but it may help to see what style or sounds you are playing.-
Hoping this helps you
With regards.

Yeah, unfortunately you have to have access to those global parameters, or else the Pa4x won't be able to communicate with the FCB1010 . _________________ Sam

Thanks Sam for your input, I was hope for a better answer but it is what it is, I guess my next few gigs will be with limited styles,
Pete is been trying to help me on PM, I really appreciate it Pete you are the man, I am still hopping someone here in the forum will shed some lights for me. I can believe there no other way to select styles other then touch screen. I hope the next PA5x or whatever it will be should have a dedicated button for it.
Regards
JP |

Cool JP
Songbook and Setlists are definitely the best way to manage and get the best out of your PA4X.
Hope that screen comes soon....

Here is an update.
I love korg Keyboards but they service no so much
I place an order for replacement screen since Sept. 16 thru Full Compass music store. I haven't receive it yet, Full compass just email me that korg ship the package by boat so, I won't see it until Feb.2019, what a great service. Now, I just found a touch screen on Ebay that is a fit for Korg pa4x.
I am very handy change a screen for tablets and phones no for a Keyboard yet. So, anybody here in the forum have any suggestion on how to start.
thanks
in Advance

JPIRES +++++
You are right. Korg service sucks.- I've very sad experience about, so i go for a particular technician, who does the job profesionally, perhaps for a bit $$ more, but does it correctly and keep alive my keyboards.-
It's not a Korg issue. Roland is the same.- As i don't use Yamaha (i don't like any of its products) i cant affirm ir the work the same bad way.-
With regards.
