|
|
Good day all.
So between work and managing the kids I am trying to get FL Studio 12 to play my Electribe 2 which I unfortunately do not get a smuch time to play with as I would like!
At the moment I have a midi file I can play on FL studio using the internal synth, but I am trying to experiment with one of the tracks playing the Electribe 2 using the sound I have assigned to Part 01.
In the Electribe I have the Clock Mode set to External MIDI, but when I play the file in FL it just sets off a drum pattern I have stored on another part.
On the MIDI output dialog box of FL it does recognize the Electribe as MIDI Hardware port, but the next column where you assign the port number is greyed out!
Send master sync is enabled and the value for Synchronization type is MIDI clock.
Can anyone please advise how to resolve this so the FL studio midi file plays the Synth in the Electribe 2? |

I have an older Electribe (EM-1), but this also applies in your case: if you want to use it just as a sound generator via MIDI, the first thing to do is disable any kind of External MIDI Clock, so it won't start playing a pattern when you play your file in FL Studio. |
