Hello .
What do you mean by saying "Format for Flash"?
Do you mean in service menu?
IF yes do you have any bad blocks? _________________ ~~~The best keyboard for any player is the one that fits his/her needs!~~~

Does this number increase each time you do the format?
If yes you have either a faulty mainboard or a faulty cpu board.. _________________ ~~~The best keyboard for any player is the one that fits his/her needs!~~~

Hmmmm..Then maybe the NAND chip got faulty on the mainboard.
577 bad blocks is a high number given the only 256mb size of the NAND... _________________ ~~~The best keyboard for any player is the one that fits his/her needs!~~~

It is a 48pin TSOP SMD chip .Not easy to be changed...
First of all i would suggest to get sure that nothing else is the problem..
Unfortunately there is nothing more i can do remotely.. _________________ ~~~The best keyboard for any player is the one that fits his/her needs!~~~

There is no battery on mainboard or cpu board of pa2x...
I didn't remember pa2x having a battery at all but maybe there is one on the panelboards for keeping the time.So no this can't be the fault unfortunately.. _________________ ~~~The best keyboard for any player is the one that fits his/her needs!~~~

I think it was not necessary to use service menue, better try formatting internal ssd memory with pa2x format utility Pa2X_format.
At the end of the procedure, switch the instrument off, then follow the instructions supplied with the “Pa2X_os_res_v[nnn].pkg” package.

This is a fairly common cpuboard/mainboard problem on pa800 which has the exact same boards except for the fact that bad blocks do increase on almost every reboot...
If all these blocks are really bad then the only possible way for it to be repaired is to change the NAND..Else maybe there is another problem on the main or cpu board.. _________________ ~~~The best keyboard for any player is the one that fits his/her needs!~~~

If formatting the internal SSD memory with "Pa2X_format" and the message "System Format Completed" do not appear, then there is a power break, the SSD will be corrupted.
In this case, when turning the instrument on a warning message will appear: "SSD Media Error – Format SSD – Press MEDIA button to confirm? ".
Now press the MEDIA button, the "Formatting NAND" message will show that formatting is going on (NAND is the type of SSD inside the Pa2X).
At the end repeat the procedure to load the Format utility again and you will get the message "System Format Completed".
This is also KORG's recommendation.
