I just had the same thought about the NEXT OS update for PA1000.
I hope that KORG will realize it very soon. |

Hello.
Tell me, if I buy Korg Pa4x, what will I get compared to PA1000?
Is it worth overpaying?
I do not like the build quality of the PA1000. But the sound of the PA1000 seems to be the same as that of the Pa4x. Or am I wrong? |

There IS a new OS update for the PA1000 as of today.
see:
https://www.korg.com/us/support/download/software/0/758/3852/
but it is hardly worth naming it an update. The only thing it fixes reads:
"- When overwriting an existing sample, other samples in memory could be damaged."
It may take as long as until September before there will be a true OS update for the PA1000 and PA700 according to sources that I spoke to....
regards,
John |
