Hi,
I have a pa4x 76.
I have a strange problem. When i record chords with the chord recording function to loop, it s working very well. All the chord are played.
When i save the sequence. Change style or keep same style and reopen the chord seq and apply it, the last chord is never played and the loop is just not working.
Any other people with that issue ? Maybe an invalid option somewhere.
Please help

Have you checked when you press 'Play' to finish the loop?
Try slowing a style WAY down, and experiment with on which beat you press Play for the end of the loop.
Also experiment with whether you actually PLAYED the first chord after you hit Record (and by how much you may be slightly late) or whether the first chord was a holdover from the previous bar (and hence, not actually played during the loop record).
I think the best way to make sure the first chord is recorded is to have Auto Start on, and record the loop with everything set to standby including the CS recorder. That way, you SHOULD get that first chord recorded every time. It's when you go into record while the style is running that can sometimes have you either play the start chord in the previous bar, or a hair early (a lot of arranger players tend to push the beat fractionally with their LH to make sure the next chord is recognized before the beat arrives).
As long as you are preparing chord sequences for the Songbook Link, it doesn't really matter if you skip the Intro changes (unless you are sure that you'll use the same Intro EVERY time and don't plan to loop back to the beginning), and just start recording the loop at the first verse (or wherever you plan to use it).
But I think your main problem is that the initial chord may not have been played at the very beginning of the loop, and unless the end of the loop is that same chord, you are not going to hear it the second time around. Prepare JUST the loop in advance, and all should be well... |
