|
|
Hi guys,
I am writing the post, because I am bit confused with my Korg Krome. First of all I love it, but I use a lot of midi files (songs)
when I play and I have noticed that I can only load up to 1.5 megabytes.
Thats about 15-20 songs. Does it really have so little memory or I am not loading the files correctly.
If 1.5 megabytes is the norm is there some kind of upgrade so I can load more files. I usually load
my files and save them as a .sng file so all the songs load at once.
Thank you in advance for your tips and solutions. |

I'm not sure what you're doing here. Usually .mid files are pretty small.
Mind you, let's say that the ones you have are full of enough detail that you get 20 - fair enough. Why not save them in multiple different .sng files? After all, the Krome has the ability to keep a hell of a lot of those on an SD card. |

The files are stored on a sd card and I load one by one
and then the internal memory says stop at 1.5 megabytes.
After that I save the loaded files to a .sng file.
What I would like to know if there is a way to upgrade
the 1.5 megabytes internal memory so I can load more files at once. |

Not to hi-jack the thread but when you want to import a list of songs into the sequencer is that the best way to do it? That is, load the midi files into song positions and then save the whole thing as a .sng? _________________ Always in need of assistance. |
