Hi guys, i'm new here.
I was looking for a topic with a related subject buti couldn't find any.
So, i was trying to add a new pack of presets to my monologue, but this message shows when i open the program "monologue sound Librarian": "Failed to Open Midi Port on Monologue sound Librarian".
also, when i try to open a file to drag in to the librarian it seems to be diferent from what the program reads: ".molglib", The new set of presets is
".molgpreset".
thanks in advance guys. |

First of all, make sure you have the correct MIDI driver installed:
https://www.korg.com/us/support/download/product/1/285/
And after that do not immediately run sound librarian; because after installing the usb-midi driver, Windows first needs to install the Monologue device driver: switch off the Monologue, then connect and power up the Monologue without pressing any buttons. Windows will then install the device driver. You can see its progress in the system tray, where it shows the device installer icon. Wait until it is ready.
With both the MIDI driver and the device driver installed you can run sound librarian. |

Is the Monologue shown in the control panel?
Open the control panel and select View devices and printers.
When it's connected, it should be shown here. If it's not shown, the device driver hasn't installed. (Note, that device driver installing may take some considerable time). |
