I bought my Oasys brand new when it was first released about 15 years ago.... I keep coming back to it and learning something new..... it’s got to be the most powerful synth/workstation ever made, I reckon.... _________________ Korg Oasys-76, Akai DPS-24, Headrush Looperboard, Sandberg California Bass, Line-6 HX Stomp. |

I still use mine. I'm in Canada. It is an amazing workstation. _________________ Cheers,

Oasys is still an essential tool in my studio. It is an inspiring keyboard. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=807494

Jim, Way back in the mists of time you posted on the Karma Labs forum trying to persuade Stephen Kay to write a guide on Combi creation.... you obviously figured it out as the Combis you have produced are fantastic....
So did anyone ever write the definitive guide to creating Combis ? ... as I would be very interested to see it. _________________ Korg Oasys-76, Akai DPS-24, Headrush Looperboard, Sandberg California Bass, Line-6 HX Stomp. |

Actually, Paul Osborn wrote a piece for the old "Red" Karma; and, Scott Raposa and Stephen produced a video series on how to build a combi for the M3, both of which can be extrapolated for the OASYS and KRONOS.

Thanks for the compliments. _________________ Cheers,

Yes. Still use my Oasys 76 live. I do have a Kronos 2 61 as an alternative if required....... _________________ Korg Oasys 76, Korg Kronos 2 61, Korg Wavestation EX, Roland Jupiter X, 2 x Roland A800 Pro, Yamaha SY77, MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch Core i7 2.7GHz 16GB / 768GB, MainStage 3, Cymatic uTrack24, Samson S Patch, U-PHORIA UMC404HD Audio interface, Yamaha MG16XU mixer |

Still use mine, or rather my teenage son does for piano practice more than me, but I occasionally happily spend a few hours tinkling away on it and I always find the amazing sounds highly inspiring.
The main reason I don't use mine as much now is because there's something badly wrong with in that it won't output MIDI data, and furthermore when it starts up, it emits a crazy burst of data and very fast random notes in all modes which only stop when I switch between modes.
It used to be the centrepiece of my studio, but now I can't use it as a controller, though at least it still responds to MIDI In, so I plan to connect it up to my MacBook and make the most of Logic's new AutoSampler, which I've used before in Mainstage.
If anybody has any ideas about its major problems, I'd much appreciate any tips. My big O is getting Old... _________________ Andy

Hello everybody!
Recently I bought myself a wonderful Oasys 88. Very happy with the purchase! I think that this tool will not be outdated soon. I use O in my home studio, paired with Kurzweil K2500. A wonderful tandem!
There is only one thing that overshadows the purchase: I bought Oasys from a seller who did not have ownership (he, in turn, bought O without transferring ownership). I didn't even know about this feature of use. Because of this, I cannot register my Oasis. I have no system recovery discs. I need activation codes for LAC-1, MOD-7, EXs 3 extensions. I sent a letter to the national KORG dealer, but they are still silent ...
Maybe someone got into such a situation? (if it's offtopic, I'm sorry).
Any help would be appreciated!
