I mean no disrespect your settings are wonderful.. I once downloaded a set of Max audio settings from the German pa4x keyboard that came from the factory,,
so I was told,, someone on the forums with a German pa 4 could post His factory set up styles keyboard set,, all of it,, and yes some of it will not work correctly,
you might even have them already but maybe someone else does not,
this is my full set up songs and samples some of the samples you might find funny, what are you some at the pub or the bars or restaurants there in the usual Bank of course.
and I am on OS 2.2 still ..
Even with glasses I cannot read os3..
The song list comes up in white and black I can read that,,, custom song list comes up in grey and orange very hard to read ,,also, in the song book for the computer I type names capital letters small letters big letters small letters they do not show up in the custom songlist on the pa4x os3+,,
once again please tell me what you think good or bad I like to hear your thoughts on it thanks again,,,
again - BackUp Your setup first...

Wouldn’t how you set up your Maxx settings depend largely on the speakers you use and the room in which you play? |

Yes I can agree on that a larger room might need a different type of EQ.
I would think your speakers sound different in a small room than they do and a large,,
it would've been nice if they would put presets that would say that large room ,small room rectangle square high ceilings,,
they would not have enough presets for everything.
But if they installed a spectrum analyzer ..in the pa 4 so you can
EQ it right from the keyboard using your mic and your PA system that set up..
That would be a game changer.. No matter where you play indoors outdoors larger small bill get a good balance on the EQ
we should put that on the wish list and that's what it would be just a wish,, I hope I'm wrong again _________________ The Gold Standard OS 2.2

This is what actually the preset i posted does,i sounds great for production or live, or hi-fi
at any kind of room or arena,
no matter what PA system you use.
It's just a small ''Mastered Preset'' for the whole keyboard,
just like you would do if you wanted to record a song
straight from the keyboard and you want it to be already mixed and mastered.
greetings!!!!
P.S : duby2, this is definitely NOT my set or my settings. It looks someone used my settings but he was missing mid range freq,so he added them and resaved it.
That could actually work on some Pa systems, while on others wouldn't sound nice.
The logic about the preset was to be balanced across all frequencies ,so
no matter the speakers you use,it sounds balanced,
and it does the job pretty good.
Yet,there is no comparison with Korg's crappy factory presets _________________

Hi
In April 2020 Korg 1 wrote:
“Jonyblues settings are ok as long as you use it at home or with Johny's PA system plus his styles.
If you use it with another PA system, with your own styles etc, it might not sound good .
Depending the dynamics that your styles have ,your Maxx audio settings should be adjusted.
If you want all styles, factory or user to work well and clean, then
only solution is to use an analyzer software or hardware and adjust the MAXXaudio settings so you can clean all mid freq, and have an overall nice sound on any PA system you use .
TRY THIS SETTINGS AS A START :
EQ:
IN=BELL OUT=BELL
GAIN: 0.3 | 1.1 |-3.1 | 00 | 00 |0.3 |0.8 |
FREQ: 51 | 81 |304 |645 |2734|7298|10321|
Q :1.98| 1.19|2.62|0.88|1.02| 1.33| 0.43 |
on/off:ON | ON | ON | ON | ON | ON | ON |
MASTER:
BASS=20.5 ,TREBLE=1.6,STEREO=37=VOLUME=7.5
This settings not only works for all PA systems abut also brings all levels from various styles more close to each other by removing those annoying mid range.
You should also hear your styles clearer and more detailed than before.”
I wrote back in April :
“Korg 1 settings have transformed my Pa4x. I found out today just how great it can sound. I have other settings like Johnyblues as you will see from my old posts. But these settings from Korg 1 are on a different planet. Clear, crisp, louder, struggling to find words to say how chuffed I am at the moment.”
That was in April and I still feel the same. My default settings. I don’t even think about changing them because the sound from the Pa4x and Adam A7X studio monitors, together with the settings from Korg1 can`t be bettered.
A word of warning to newbies or even some of us doing an update. Make sure MAXX AUDIO is turned ON. (EQ and Master). A silly thing to say you might think but Pa`s out of the box ?? Pa`s after update/factory restore ?? I still check now and again that my MAXX AUDIO is turned ON. (sorry to state the obvious to you guys with much more knowledge than me on the Pa`s but this is actually what happened to me). But all`s well that ends well thanks to Korg 1.
Take care all |

The only way I can make my Pa4 sound like a Hammond with a 122 Leslie is with the IK Multimedia plug in. You can not tell the difference between the real thing it's that good. |

I was also using Korg1's settings for quite a long time. I just did a quick check against yours, my EQ was the same, but somewhere along the line I must have 'tweaked' the Master settings. So I reset them to what you had. So much better ! And the surprising thing is that it sounds much brighter even though I was previously using more treble than your setting. _________________ Korg Pa4X (OS NEXT 3.1.0)

Hi
first of thank you to all of you who contribute it is a great help to me and I am sure many others.
Now to my question.
Korg1 I opened up maxxaudio in order to change the settings, however first of all I couldn't see where the bell in and bell out is (unless it is the little icon which changes. is that the bell? next I couldn't change the frequency to 52 only 51. I changed all the settings and I then clicked the drop down menu and saved as ps 03mine
Please do not be disappointed but what do I do with it now. Do I save this setting with a song or do I just open anything and then go to maxxaudio and turn it onto the pa 03mine.
I apologise if this seems a stupid question but my ears are not as good as when I was 30 (43years ago) therefore I find it difficult to notice the changes that have been mentioned by others.
Kind regards and many thanks

Hi keith-helen,
Yeah, bell is the _Π_ icon ,not the _/- (sorry about txt icons) .
Make sure all buttons are set to ON .
You are right,freq is 51.
The second tab where says ''Master'' need to adjust settings as well,so don't forget that too.
I m pretty sure with proper speakers you will certainly notice the changes, unless you forget to set to ON the whole Maxxaudio from the right upper corner

Hi Korg1
Many thanks for your prompt reply . I have the pa speakers also I turn them off and play (if what I do can be called playing) through a mixer amp and mordaunt- short speakers. I must take the cotton buds out my ears and put my hearing aids back in .I am sure that would help. ha ha
Once again many thanks for your help.
Best wishes
