Hi,

I am still waiting for my monologue and i plan to use it dawless connected to a Roland TR-8s, a tb-03 and a minilogue xd but i was wandering about the midi capabilities as a sound module???

Would it be possible to connect it to an external daw and have different bass sounds playing out of different midi channels.

So i could set midi channel 1 to play a bass
Then midi channel 2 to play another sound at the same time.

Doubtful I know but this is what questions are for aren't they.

The Monologue only responds to a single MIDI channel, so no, you cannot have different bass sounds playing out of different MIDI channels. You'd need multiple Monologues for what you indicated, each set to a different channel..
