There are two ways to walk.
Normal. This is when you load sounds into free banks. As much as you need.
And quasi-normal. This is when you need to delete, redo and move, create new versions PKG and etc. These are crutches.
You can also walk with crutches, but that's not very comfortable...
The crutches here are a sarcastic allegory Smile

Very Happy Ok, that's kind of what I thought you meant. It's a fair comment, because we all work differently.

For me, wading through hundreds of presets I know I will never use is the equivalent of being stuck on crutches. After having used my Kronos for several years, my PCG now bears very little resemblance to the factory PCG, and that works much better for me - it contains my sort of sounds, rather than Korg's factory sounds.

I know there are two types of Kronos users. The first ones is jast not enough free banks. The second ones delete, copy, move and create their own versions of the PCG.
Well these are two fundamentally different way Very Happy

Fun guitar sounds. And I'm a guitarist pretending to play keys.

You need two hands to play guitar, Greg. Razz

Oh, wait. It's a keyboard...

How's the healing coming, brother?

hi Chris, my keyboards and guitar have voice recognition. No more annoying finger exercises Wink. only need to push the power on/off button.

Just kidding.

Thx for asking, my cast was removed last Friday, and my LH is free to make mistakes on bass notes and flub chords . I was able to complete a new song- titled Last Chance Road.

I envy your ability to have a legitimate excuse for bad notes.

Glad to hear you're healing up and still writing!

So why free banks ???
It's somehow like a dictionnary : You don't always need to use some of the words which are within it, but who knows ? Someday you'll need that specific word you had erased Very Happy
