|
|
Hi all
I can't easily trace in the manuals or this forum how I can 'tell' the Kronos to go in Combi or Program mode, using an external DAW (in this case Cantabile)
I manage to communicate Program Changes
But which (Bank Select?) Midi messages would I need to send to Kronos to change mode between Combi and Program?
If anybody could point me to where in manuals or else I could find that, that would be great
Thanks

Thanks, yes I know this page, but - as far as I can find it - it does not say which Midi or Sysex command to enter when I want to force Kronos into Program Mode, Combi mode, Setlist mode, or Sequencer Mode
That's what I am looking for
With the final aim, that during a gig, I can change my settings with one push of a button with Cantabile. This is possible already for VST's, but I want to include the Kronos in that in whatever specific setup I want on the kronos, either in Program mode or Combi mode. _________________ Ad

SYSEX for what you need below.
Set List mode : F0 42 30 68 4E 09 F7
Combi mode : F0 42 30 68 4E 00 F7
Program mode : F0 42 30 68 4E 02 F7
Sequencer mode : F0 42 30 68 4E 04 F7
Sampling mode : F0 42 30 68 4E 06 F7
Global mode : F0 42 30 68 4E 07 F7
Disk mode : F0 42 30 68 4E 08 F7
A fun learning trick for SYSEX stuff is to download the MIDI-OX freeware. Then looking at its monitor, simply push any button on your Kronos, the program will tell you what is sent and obviously can be recognized as well by the Kronos. Hope this helps. |
