I bought a Korg EK50 about a month ago and everything has been fine until tonight. When I turned on the keyboard just now I couldn't hear that it was making any sound either through the headphones or the speakers. As I investigated further I found a couple of things:
Most of the voices (including all of the piano voices) are just barely audible even with the volume turned up all the way.
Other voices (including many of the organs) seem to be at normal volume.
Has anyone encountered this before and is there anything I can try to fix it?
Thanks. |

Have you checked the piano voice volume? Press Upper1,2 or 3 nd rotate the dial to increase the volume |

Hi Mitzie ... thanks for the reply.
Yes, I checked the volume levels. Most of them are dialed up to maximum volume but I can still just barely hear any sound. What makes me think an electronic component has gone out is that some of the voices seem ok.
I have sent a message to Korg support and I am waiting to hear what they think. |

Did you check the setting that controls the touch sensitivity of the keyboard? Maybe you have accidentally set it to a lower value of Fixed, or to "Hard" maybe.
If so, changing it to either "Soft" or to the higher end of Fixed should fix the issue for you. |

Backup your setlist and do a factory reset. |
