I´ve bought a Kronos 1st gen. Sadly I´ve discovered that it´s motherboard and power board are not original (and there are some holes for ventilation too...).

The power board stopped working, so I need to replace it. Original ones are too expensive, so I´m considering using some Corsair unit. The Korg technician said it is possible, but I don´t know wich model should I buy.
Could You help me?

it appears you accidentally bought someone's headache

Can you make a claim, get a refund, etc, to support repair costs ?

Original power supply is ENO-1612-K, but as Kronos wiring/schematic says, most of ATX power supply shoud go, main concern is rather if they fit physically into Kronos.
There are ATX PSUs on the market with similar physical dimensions (150*80*40), however.
So overall - should not be too complicated to find a replacement analog and replace PSU.

Original PSU ENO-1612 is not expensive if you can find it !
Direct replacement with other type will be difficult since this one is fan-less and will be hard to adapt it.
My cheaper (40 US$) and more efficient replacement solution I use if ENO-1612 is unavailable are 12V Pico mini ATX PSU and
one 110/220V to 12V 10A Power Supply Adapter in internal installation , due to feed mini ATX PSU.

Done! Worked! Just one problem: I have to start the motherboard with some quick manual jumper, directly on the motherboard.
Seems the following part is missing:

Is this part the motherboard starter?

Yes, this little thing (Korg KLM-3008 "Boot support") is connected to motherboard "Front panel connector" where are standard connections for 1) reset button, 2) on/off button, 3) power led and 4) HDD led
Kronos uses only HDD led and "on/off button" functions.
KLM-3008 gets +5VSB (5V standby) and routes it through "power detection with delay" circuit (BD5247G) on KLM-3008 and then to MB on/off A pin (B pin is grounded)

I just could find this part on ebay, costing about U$275. That´s too expensive for a brazilian guy like me... It means about 20-25% of the total value of my K. So, the solution seems to use another replacement until I save enough money. Install/adapt a cooler was not so hard.
Any ideas where I can find the original for less than this value?
