|
Hello everyone. Has anyone used the midi commander android app? I'm trying to connect my korg pa50, but I'm not going about the parameters, I guess in the application, are there experts here on the forum who could help me? My goal is to change the sounds through the application.
Thank you all.
is it allowed to use an e-mail address to contact me? |

I've not used this app but after reading the manual it seems you need to write all the program change data into the app
for it to be able to talk to the keyboard.
If that is the case then you will need to know the patch change parameters and likely manually write them into the app which will be a nightmare job,, even with a good understanding of midi.
All the midi data for the pa50 is in the back of the manual, such as Prg numbers & controller data.
I send Control and Prg changes to my pa50 via a Roland PCR300 controller keyboard BUT I have to program all those changes into the controller first. (Which takes a while) I would think your situation will be the same.
There is a chance the app might already have a GM/GS bank preset but that will only recall the stock 0-127 Prgs.
Sadly that won't get to all the other banks inside the pa50.
If you can open the edit pages on the app then I assume somewhere there you can write the Prg midi data needed to change Prgs on the pa50.
Of course this assumes you already have USB to Midi interface setup and talking to the app???
Sorry without more info I can't be of more help.
