Chances are this is a known issue and someone already posted about it in the past, in that case, please disregard this post.

Basically, if I use my K2 as a sound-engine with another keyboard as controller, my Kronos works magnificently, the EPs sound way better as I can definitely get some bark out of them. I can't get the same on the Kronos keyboard itself. I've already worked on the velocity curve (global settings), but there's just no way I can get the 127 value out of it...not even when I literally hammer-slam-punch the keys.

I was just wondering whether some of you were experiencing the same problem.

Yep, it's a known problem with the Kronos and on many other synths. Very few keyboards I have owned offered good control over the whole MIDI velocity scale except one which I still have.

If you often use a PC/laptop with your Kronos, one solution to improve its MIDI dynamics is to use a MIDI mapper (there are some good free ones online like MIDI-OX).

Well, there you go then. At least it's a common issue, it's not just my unit being faulty. Thanx for the feedback.
