The driver installation dialog box appears repeatedly on my screen, sometimes in the middle of a session. If I turn it off, will the drivers still work? And how do I get it back if I need it? _________________ Korg Kronos v. 3.0.2, PC running Windows 10, MOTU Micro Lite, Behringer UB1202 mixer |

I have exactly the same on my PC. Every time my Kronos boots, the driver install window appears, even though the driver is already installed and working. _________________ || My music ■■ How to embed Youtube and Soundcloud on this forum ||

Not 100% sure if this answers your question, but I'll give it a try.
In Windows, there is a "Configure KORG Driver Setup Utility" (look it up via Search).
If you start this app, it shows a dialog with a checkbox: "Start automatically when Windows is started, and monitor USB connections".
I believe by default this checkbox is checked. I have unchecked it.
By unchecking, this app does not monitor USB connections anymore, and won't ask you to install the KORG driver over and over again (unnecessarily).
For me, this did the trick. And the driver still functions normally.
Hope this helps. _________________ Kronos 61, Korg M1 |
