Hi All, my band is going to be playing a wedding in a couple months and one of the songs they want to hear is "Classic" from MKTO. Can anyone point me in the right direction to the piano sound heard around 1:02 of this video?

It sounds kind of like an EP, but it's more like some sort of DJ sounding piano. I'm not sure how to recreate it. I'm not great at tweaking sounds (more of a player). Any help would be appreciated. |

The Program "Syn Gothic" might get reasonably close, if nothing else can be found, and it seems to sit well in the mix, and needs very little change. Try going to the Amp/EQ tab and, in the Envelope section, set the Release Time to 0, to get the sharp end to the note when the keys are released. Maybe try a little EQ or cutoff to soften the tone a little.

Addendum - to the above - go to the MFX/TFX, Routing tab, and turn off the two reverb effects. Sorry, forgot to mention that. It makes quite a difference to the overall sound.
