I'm downloading some online user / custom sets and some of them are made with pa3x, 4x etc... I have a pa700.
can I use them as is? or is there a way to convert those into a format that pa700 can read?
hope I explained clearly. Thanks for your help. |

It kind of depends on what content you are using. In terms of samples (user sounds) you have a small amount of sample space so be selective about what you load. _________________ Gem Wk4, Technics Kn5000, Solton Ms60, Yamaha Psr K1, Korg Pa50sd, Tyros 4, Korg Pa700 |

As it can be read in the Pa700 manual from page 882, with Pa700 you can load most data from other Pa-Series instruments.
But you could not load Set folders, so it is recommended to open Set folder and load each bank or individual item separately. A table shows what data you can load from the other instruments.
Built-in loading procedure will convert the data, that can be saved as new set folder after loading the needed data.

Loading or importing samples, multisamples, sounds and pcg-files is a special chapter and extensively described from page 448 ff. _________________ kind regards
