Hi everyone,
I am a proud owner of a Pa5x and a Yamaha Genos. I had a pa4x before the new one and never get backnoise between these two. But now when i connect per audio out- audio in the two keyboard i am getting a very anoying Backing noise and i already change all with different cable. So did someone here got the same problem. If so how could i solve it ? If not i will return it to the support and waiting a better alternative.

Just curious - Are you using a TRS 1/4" Cable?
I have two keyboards connected via MIDI with no issues.
I could test your setup if you like. Which connections are you using, with which Inputs / Outputs? (ie. KRONOS Audio 1 Out - to - Pa5X Line 1 In)

I am using Audio in for pa5x, Audio out for Genos.
And just with pa5x i already get that noise with headphone, Audio-out, 1,2,3,4.
Now i am facing another issue. Keyboard freeze on the start screen. I dont know what going on here. I just bought this for 2 days for 4500 euros.
Comon korg it s a shame to sell buggy think like that😔😔😔. I cannot even play anymore. |

i never use connections from keyboard to keyboard.
i thnk best way would be using a small mixer unit

I run EVERYTHING into a Mixer / Recorder and then out to my speakers
Just gives me more options, and easier controllability.

I must admit - I experienced this, this morning on startup - Rebooted and all is good.
I was starting two devices at the same time, so possibly slight drop in power during a boot sequence. Not sure, probably just making excuses.
If it happens again, I'll post it. But for now all is good!

I'd at least call KORG - Maybe there is some sort of Reset Function you can activate by holding a switch.?.?

I searched on manual if i can reset it but i didn't find anythong like this. I tried to simulate an OS update and i can reach the Os update screen. But when the loading is full it just stop and freeze. It has started just randomly one more time but since this it doesn't start anymore.
I will return it and ask refund if i cannot get this solved. It s so buggy that is more a frustation toys than an enjoyment keyboard. |

Re the noise...
Probably not relevant but Genos outputs are unbalanced (TS) whereas PA5x are all balanced

Probably the reason why. But it works good with the pa4x. I never had this.
Now i cannot start my pa5x. I tried many times again and again but nothing. They are not Os Software for factory reset. I can go to OS screen but cannot load my pa5x. |
