Do the following as alternative at current OS state :

- Make a copy of your Pa4X.SET in your PC/Mac
- Open SET folder and delete all other except SOUND , PCM & MULTISMP folders
- Rename folder Pa4X.SET to Pa4X.KST , copy folder to a USB thumb drive insert it in Pa5X front USB slot
- From Pa5X MEDIA , browse for Pa4X.KST and load it , or open folder click on SOUND folder and load it.
- Done

This will work if you have valid and healthy samples

Hope this helps

Thank you very much for this valuable tip.
I have one additional question and I hope you know the answer.
When loading a next sample, the first loaded sample is overwritten.
Is there a way to specify in which user bank this sample can be placed.
I hope my question is clear and thanks in advance for the effort.

Kind regards
Ben

Ben

Loading temporary Ram memory always host one sample , so it's radical to loose previous sample when loading next one !
The right procedure in any PaSeries , is when loading a sample then you save it before loading next one (via screen upper menu).
Without saving , any temporary loaded sample will be lost in next restart !

Also Ben read the architecture of Pa3-5X sample engine , since samples must be hosted in multisamples that are independent
from Sound banks and you can manually create a sound with them and save it afterwards in any Sound Bank you like !

Hope this helps

I tried. It does not convert (it converts only Keyboars Sets, Pads and Styles; and not all the styles). Or maybe it could, but we do not do it correctly (because with this method it is not in the KST folder after the conversion. And I tried over 10 different sets.
Maybe an option would be through external software.
Thank you.
