|
|
My Microkey 61 usually works fine, but I am frequently getting this error message when trying to use the keyboard with the Midi-Ox test application, usually after my Windows 10 machine has been resumed from Sleep mode. The keyboard is also not detected by Reaper when this problem ossurs.
When I run the Korg uninstall utility it shows the driver as being "Corrupted". I have tried removing the driver and re-installing it (using the version 1.15.r51e downloaded from korg.com), but it doesn't help.
The problem usually arises when the machine has been resumed from sleep mode. If I reboot the machine the keyboard usually becomes accessible again, and doesn't recur until I sleep and resume the machine.
I am running Windows 1-0 Pro 22H2 on a Ryzen 7 2700X desktop machine. Any idea how I can fix this? |

I just use mine in regular old USB MIDI mode, no KORG drivers needed (or available, on my hardware).
Does it work as class compliant, with the KORG driver yanked? |

I've removed all of the Korg driver/utility software, then let Windows reinstall its own drivers. Midi-Ox can now detect the keyboard, but Reaper (7.07) can't. It's listed as a Midi device in Reaper Preferences (probably from when I originally configured it), but it is not sending any input signals to Reaper.

I've managed to resolve the issue using the suggested registry edits here:
