Hi everyone, Very Happy

I have just posted on my website version 1.08 of the Oasys Companion. There are a lot of updates. You can find it and the new documentation at:

http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/pryer/

Any feedback on the software, bugs, appearance, layout, and documentation would be much appreciated. Also I would welcome ideas for new features. The revision history in the documentation describes the updates.

The full documentation in html and pdf formats and a tutorial on synthesis is also on the website together with links for the Triton Controller.

I have started work on some new free programs and combi's for the Oasys using the software this week. They should be out next week and I will place them on my website.

Have fun

Stuart

Hi Derm,

Try downloading again. You should not need to insert any disk on installation as the package contains all of the download you need? Let me know how you get on. If you have trouble again I can send the install package direct to your private e-mail address.

Cheers

Stuart

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that version 1.09 of the Oasys Companion should be ready next week. Im putting the documentation on my website this weekend.

Im also producing a new PCG for the Oasys which will be out very soon containing a completly new set of free synth sounds (Programs and Combinations)!

Next week will be a busy one for Oasys users with OS 1.2.1 out. I can assure everyone that it is a brilliant update. The MS20 emulation is astounding. I find it incredible as I bought a MS20 in 1980. It cost £600 so this update is a real bargin.

Best Wishes

Stuart

Hi Everyone,

I will be releasing some free programs and combis this weeknd. There are 20 new Combinations and 15 new programs. I will add to these over the coming weeks. All HDi.

Maybe we should create some Korg Forum PCG files to share ?

Cheers

Stuart

Stuart,

do you know if there is a place where this could become a "project"? What I mean is, maybe there are other users who would like to give / share some of their programs and combinations. And if there is one address collecting all the sounds ... only an idea.

Maybe here or maybe at Stephens site.

Peter

If anyone wants to share programs just let me know, we will happily provide the space for storing/sharing them !

I think it would be good to get a few programs from each user and create an Oasys user bank ... harness the collective talent (of which there is plenty !)

Looking forward to checking what Stuart has created ... thanks mate !!

Hi Daz,
As you know, I've posted a free fully KARMA-fied LAC-1 combination, "The Dark Side 2" on my OASYS webpage and over at KLF. I can upload it to you or you can grab it over at my KLF post where I attached it in a downloadable zip file here http://www.karma-lab.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8067

I looked for a procedure to attach the zip here at KF, but I couldn't see an "attach file" link in the posting dialogue. Did I miss it?

Cheers,
Eric

We don't support that yet Eric (but will in the future - more news on that later) ... I'll get it from KLF and I'll add it to the collection.

What I'll do is use Oasys or my Mac Librarian to collate all the offerings into one single file to share and I'll host it here. Thanks for your sharing !

Hi Everyone.

I seem to have set a hare running with the Oasys Soundpool!

Anyway another freebie Smile I have just launched version 1.09 of the Oasys Companion. I recommend all users to download it as the PCG file analysis routines have been improved. Plus many other things.

There is the new 1.09 documentation, a PDF version and links on how to get the Full Version on my website as well.

Not to forget some free Oasys Program (15) and Combinations (20) as well ! Which takes me back to where I started!

Cheers

Stuart
