|
|
I'm trying to get myself a great lead sound (as we all do ) and I want to get something which is quite Sonata Arctica...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psBk6JNkUNw
In this song at time 2:20 starts the real key solo and I really like that sound. Could someone help me to get that kind of sound. Mikko uses Karma in that song and I have Triton so the samples are the same in both keyboards...
Thank You very much!
and I would like to have an external distortion/overdrive effect? any experiences? _________________ Korg Triton Classic 61-keys, Native Instruments Kore 2 (SW&HW) |

It's a hard work if you have to emulate that sound... just push D035 in the program mode... and start playing the sounds is quite similar to the one in the video... change a little the distortion or the eq, but it seems it's the same sound...
have fun!

happy to know it works for you, many time I play with headphones or a hi fi surround system... and when I switch to the monitors...
it's a pain not to have monitors dedicated only to keyboards... _________________ http://www.synthaddicted.com |

Every keyboardist should have PA-system in their home so they could listen the sound through those so it wound sound much like the same on gig... Moneymoneymoney... _________________ Korg Triton Classic 61-keys, Native Instruments Kore 2 (SW&HW) |

I tryed that rich lead sound also, and with SW2 you can tweak it with ribbon to sound it better. but every time I change the sound to something else and back, this change made with ribbon is not saved. So is there a way to save it and not to touch the ribbon in right position every time I change to use this sound? |

you must check what the ribbon is actually controlling and tweak that parameter from the menus... that is the only way to do it unfortunately... _________________ Korg Triton Classic 61-keys, Native Instruments Kore 2 (SW&HW) |
