I spent quite some time with Karma and created my own karmafied combis from scratch. Actually it's not so difficult - the user-interface is designed well!
What confuses me is that changes in the Master Modul are not reflected in the Slave Modules (sorry - don't know the proper word - I mean Modul A, B, C and D). Eg. if I change the swing factor of the Master Modul and have it routed to all slaves it actually changes the swing factor of all slaves as it should (= I mean, it sounds as it should) - but if you look into the slaves the swing factor displayed there is the old one. It looks like "Hey, I'm swinging no matter what value I show to you!"
I know this must have a purpose but right now I dont understand it. Can someone explain the advantage of this system?
PS: Karma is an awsome invention - for me it changes many of my "old" views of how to make music! |
