Hrmm.. So I 'just' got my M3 with in the past few weeks, loving it..
However I'm confused, when I activate the X-Y Mode, it doesn't display like it shows in the manual, instead it just changes the display color as a trace my finger, recording the color patterns...
Is it 'supposed' to do this or is it actually supposed to display my traced line?
Using 1.0.9 [yes updating to expanded 2.0 but not till next weekend]
Thanks for any input!! I'm a nub to this, only Korg I've touched/used is the Triton Extreme in our group..

Nope, it doesn't "trace" your finger, the color is simply for an "Ooo Ahh" effect. Think of it like a coordinate plane. For different programs and combis, the location of your finger on the screen controls various parameters like filter cutoff, resonance, pan...pretty much whatever you want.
Hope that helps:) |
