I dont know if its better, it is your choice but the PA800 has a lot better
MP3 BOARD and FUNCTIONS for it then the PA1XPRO.
I personally would change PA1X for a PA800 right away. _________________ http://www.basaristudios.com

Cristi, do you need 76 keys or are you happy with 61?
Will you really use the mp3 player extensively?
As others have said, I'm not sure there will be a HUGE sound difference either..... _________________ Just pretend I've written something funny, yet wise and ironic here... |

I have said this before but the absence of the 8 sliders in a live performance setting will definately inhibit the overall control of the sound that you have over the instrument if you switch to the pa800. If you dont use the sliders in real time as you play then it s not too difficult a decision to make. |

It might be worth waiting for the PA2XPro rather than going for the PA800 - you stand to lose less.
Sorry - didn't mean to imply that the PA800 is not as good - just mean losing things like sliders, 76 keys etc...
Cheers
