I wish (letter to santa )...
that i can play Mp3 files... Also it would be nice if there was a function to convert Wav -> Mp3 and vice versa (yes i know its not the best thing to convert to a wav from a mp3 but i have samples in Mp3 format Rolling Eyes ...and it would be "easier" to convert them inside the M3 instead of a Computer...)

A strange one... but ability to read .Txt files ... if possible also the ability to edit them also...

also im still waiting for a drag'n'drop interface for organizing programs/combis in the M3 editor

thanks

Max polyphony per program setting..

-Ability to add different colors on combis/programs (when scrolling the sound list)... makes it easier to find sounds if you mark some of them with colors

More program BANKS... like a second layer to the existing 14 banks... Just press (click on screen?) a button and it swïtches to layer 2 and voila 14 empty banks... or even few banks would help alot since i Im running really low on banks! This feature would be the best ever Smile

-Search function..example: search for "pad" to find every sound that has the word "pad" in the name... Well this is not very nesessary but just pointing out IF its possible...

I wish you could assign a song or a portion of a song (as you do in the cue list) to the pads. That way you could be more interactive in a live situation. I wish you could have the patterns feature multi-midi channel...which would allow you to play patterns of songs and arrange then on the fly in a live situation

As discussed in another thread, but just in case Korg does see this one and not my own thread...a blind friendly editor for the M3 would be a god send for me.

i dont own one...
but things that would be better for korg keyboards/workstations in general...

transpose buttons!
why is there no transpose buttons on korg workstations?

have combi's embed the programs they use
so they are copied to a new memory location where they can be edited independently from the original program.
(like the virus)

this would be great, as currently, (at least with the triton based keyboards i have), when you edit a program, there's no way of knowing which combi's are affected/ruined by your actions

loads of empty user banks... or some form of flexible memory system?

seperate fx per program in combi or seq mode, so that a program sounds the same when its used in these modes.
(like the virus or that new fantom)

currently some patches that rely on fx to give them their character...
sound weak when the fx disappear.

a piano roll screen in the sequencer mode
(unless you can do this?... i think the fantoms can?)

(if it can already do some of the things i've listed, let me know, i dont own one but this is stuff i think is similar to the things that annoy me with my karma)
