Am trying to buy authorization for Mod-7, but the Korg Online Store site won't accept my OASYS' Public ID.Sad

Anyone know how to correct this so I can purchase the authorization. (OS 1.3 installed without a hitch.)

Thanks in advance,
BC

I think the FAQ may be helpful (under "Who should I contact for help"):

You will need to contact your Korg Country Distributor Tech Support.

Did you happen to have the EXB-DI ADATMOD work done? If so, that changes your Public ID (since it replaces the PCI board that IDs your OASYS).

I now have a different Public ID (after having the work done) so the information in the KorgUserNet database was wrong.

In my case, Korg USA Product Support worked with Korg Japan to get my database records updated.

Dan,
Thanks, I'll call Korg USA Monday.

Martin,
Also thanks. I haven't had the EXB-DI ADATMOD work done so the ID in the database should not have changed AFAIK.

I had the same problem with another upgrade. Korg will fix this problem quickly. I had my issue resolved in under 1 day. It does suck that this happened on Friday since you'll have to wait until Monday.

Thanks, SD. Smile

Doesn't bother too bad as I have two gigs this weekend and will be pretty wiped so won't mess with the new stuff until next week. But it's tempting since there is some sweet stuff in Mod-7.
