Hello,
Is there any function that merges midi out en Midi trough ?
I'am using the M3 also as a midi/master controller
but when i want to connect another keyboard to the M3
(via midi In) i can't control no other midi instruments anymore.
Is there any converter : midi (out) to the special connector
(bottom M3) ?
Groetjes,

there are MIDI MERGE boxes to "mix" MIDI OUT and MIDI THRU powered by MIDI messages
if I understood what you want to do :
- control M3 by an external MIDI keyboard
- control other MIDI devices by MIDI keyboard and M3 controlers
?
if I'm right, of course you can with MIDI merge boxes _________________ YAMAHA W5 + TRITON proX (exb MOSS / exb PCM01 / exb PCM05 / exb SCSI / 64Mo) + M3-73 No.000187 v2.0 (exb Radias v2.0 / exb M256) + DOEPFER LMK2+

I'am using the M3 with internal sounds and also as a masterkeyboard to play and control external sounds.
When I want to connect another keyboard instead of his own keybed and use the M3 still as Master it is not possible to play the external
sounds anymore (only the 8 pads/Seq will send note on/off)
when i use the midi thru connection i can play with the external sounds but the M3 can't control the external sounds anymore.
It would be nice when the M3 could merge the incoming midi information
control an send to the Midi out (splits and controllers)
when you use a midi merge box to merge midi out and midi thru
there are no keyboard splits send to the external sounds.
Long time ago there was a synth from GEM (s2) who could do this.
