Hi.
I have a Trinity v3 pro 76 (with the EXP HDR-TRI and MOSS) and I have the opportunity of to change it for a Triton Extreme 76 (and 900US more). I never has tested the Triton Extreme and I never listened to it. The Trinity it's very so good ... pretty and great sound ... but the the polyphony is poor.
I need your help for a correct decision.
Thx (and sorry for the english). _________________ I touch then I exist |

I have a Trinity Plus 61 but not the Extreme, although have played it at stores several times. The Extreme comes with loads of sounds and has the "tube" which can kick up the sounds a notch, give them some "grunge" etc. You probably will find a sound on the Extreme to approximate what you use on the Trinity if you go mostly with stock sounds. Many here stand by their Trinity and its sound. They are warm as you already know. But Sound is subjective and if the instrument will work for you can only be determined by you doing some hands on playing with both instruments, side by side, if possible. You will have to make the call as to if the Extreme will answer your needs. Polyphony has increased with the newer machines. Personally, I still have my Trinity, but actually use my Oasys 76 more than 95% of the time. Bottom line "its your call".
Best Regards, Nitecrawler |
