Hi! I just want to know how can an M3 user convert a song to MP3? Is the only way to record to audio CD through an external USB CDR drive and convert it to Mp3 later or there is another way to do it?

Thanks!

Well one way is to convert the song to a wav file and save it to a USB-memory stick from the M3. Then take the memory stick to a computer and convert it to mp3.

Thanks. But, to convert it to wav file, are we using the RAM memory? If it´s so, how much time of music can we convert with the initial 64MB?

Thanks again.

Okay i havent "dived" into sequensing yet on my M3 but i testet sampling etc. and there you could save the sample directly to a USB-stick instead of saving it to ram first... so im quessing that you can just do a "save to wav file" directly to the usb stick...
