Yez Bizzi but ona the PA800 you LOAD it once at home and its inside forever,
on the PA1X you have to do it every single time you shut the synth off.
And no, its not the same, the sets of 67MB on PA800 LOAD faster then PA1X,
it is not the same, i can prove it to you. _________________ http://www.basaristudios.com

I measured a 32 MB set on PA1X, not PRO, it took about 12 minutes.
A 67 MB set on PA800 took almost the same time, i cant recall if it was
a little faster or slower but i'll do the test again.
The PA1X wasnt mine, i never had one, i used to have PA1XPRO and PA80. _________________ http://www.basaristudios.com

32 mb about 12 minute on pa1x ?.... very strange, I had about 20 mb on may pa1x (pro) I don't know how much time, I must test, but I don't think 16 mb needs 6 minutes.
67 mb on pa800 about 12 minutes ??.... oh no.. very long
please how can test again, I need to know the time because the same of pa2x. Tramannoni told that more fast than pa1x but how much ?
Then if I have 128 mb on pa2x I must go half our before starting ? and if I load 256 mb I must go 1 our before play ? oh no... PLEASE TEST
Yesterday I was at demo from Max Tempia korg italy demo man, and we tolk very long. but he don't know the time for autoloading pcm
then please Test from Pa800. I hope it's more fast thanks |

yes it´s about next to 3Minutes
i´m very interested in the loading time for PA800/PA2X with 256MB - i think takes a long long time.

Hi
The pa800 is quick when compared to others so must the pa2x be ,as Sartorius says it is the same as pa800 but-- more RAM better keyboard feel - it has the same styles see users manual on korg site
the same samples as Sartorius says... its just the build quality- pa800 is plastic with speakers and red LED bulbs and 10lbs lighter . But if you want a better quality instrument ie Aluminium not plastic ,blue LED switch bulbs not red a better keyboard feel and more RAM then go for the PA2X
Please no more slaggin PA2X - It is much more advanced than PA1X
Its technology progress no different than any other product tv,car kettle radio list can go on and on ,etc etc,etc |

it's true and pa2x look very good, yesterday when return home and see pa1xpro after see pa2x my opionion:"oh no..it's too big and plastic"
I cannot test the time load (the pa2x demo has about 4 mb of wav) because the software was 1 beta and Max told me that he's keyboard need much time for boot. we need to know how much time for load 64 mb into pa800 then to know about what 128 or 256 need for pa2x |

...by the way:
try to boot WITHOUT PCM-Autoload,
after booting load the PCMs seperately!!!
it should be faster, the company said!
