Some of the usernames I've come across on internet forums are very interesting. The ones that are the most interesting to me are names of guies on a company specific forum such as Motifator, with a username like Korgkords, Alesis, or Fantomx, when it's a Yamaha site. Other usernames simply make me think, "Huh?"
My username is sort of a joke. I used to tell my former fiancee that I was King Josh, as a joke. I wanted a username that didn't sound corny, like the one I use on some other sites. So, that's how the name KingJ was born. What about you? How did you come up with your usernames?

Wow! Thanks for the link! Laughing Bear really tought me something! I'm a big history buff, so it was really cool to read some history on this site.

BTW, my situation was once similar to Blinkofaneye's. I first joined these forums to address what I mistakenly thought was a serious accessibility issue with most Korg products. Since I'm blind, I thought that there was no way on this Earth that I could use a touch screen. I was proven wrong, when two things happend. First, I found out that Stevie Wonder has an M3. Second, Bctines, who has and uses an Oasys, an M3, and a Yamaha Motif XS, told me how he uses his Oasys and his M3 even though he's visually impaired. He actually said that his Oasys is easier for him to use than his XS! I thought that after my first thread, "I really like the Oasys, but..." that I would never post here again. Well, it's a good thing I was wrong! Cool

What I should have said was, If I had 4 Triton Extremes,
I'd be selling 3 towards an "O".

I hope you guys don't think that I own 4 Extremes.

Smile

Just a spur of the moment choice.
1, 2 or 3 would have also sufficed.

LOL! What are you doing with four of the same synth anyway? Sell three of them and get that O! LOL!

Well, I'm Innovative. I come from a great line of Italians (Bennicelli)
and I'd like to think I am so good at rockin the keys so I'm like a Dr! lol

As far as the Triton Extreme goes. I don't think I'd ever trade or get ride of my Xtreme for an Oasys. I have so many self made programs/Combi's as well as hours and hours of programming. The quality is too great (for me to poop on)

I have almost the same board (XS)
Does your name have anything to do with how long Kurzweil waited to come back and make a new keyboard? Like your name is Kurt and you waited a long while?

Mine's an abbreviation of my old nickname of 'ginger' from years gone by when my hair was a nice auburn colour. The hair hasn't stuck, but the name has.

Mine is very simple. Apparently when I sing, I sound like a silver dragon in heat. Shocked Razz

Seriously though its just my company name although the singing comment above is also pretty accurate.
