I downloaded the file from Korg onto a USB drive. Confirm that will not work to dowonload to the M3? The instructions are a bit sketchy. Thanks in advance for any help. This is an awesome board, just trying keep up with it! Cool

Well I just updated mine a few hours ago and there's really nothing tricky about it.
Just put the M3SYS on a pendrive, plug it into the M3, go to Global Mode, and chose "Update System Software" from the pull-down menu.
It's all automatic from there, no problems at all.

If it doesn't work you might wanna try it with a different USB stick.

Thanks Voltan, got it. I just deleted everything and re-downloaded it from Korg and it worked fine. Dunno, what happeded but it's done.
