Hi Guys,
I've just got korg legacy analog collection2007,which sounds great, but am having a strange issue with Mono/poly in Logic 8 on my intel iMac, & wondered if anyone had any advice on a fix/workaround?
When i slap a logic compressor on the audio instrument track containing the monopoly, with sidechain input from a bus I've routed a 4/4 kick drum to, the kick only compresses the mono/poly audio instrument track in the first 2 beats of every 4. This is both audibly & visually, if I look at the meters in the compressor which just register for the 1st 2 kicks.
The kick drum track, & sidechain trigger buss are both setup correctly, & working fine in triggering the sidechain compression on several other audio instrument tracks, & If I swap the mono/poly for another instrument by dragging & dropping into the channel strip the sidechain works fine compressing all 4 beats? i also tried using a different (sonalksis) compressor instead of logics own, & same problem occured, again just with the MonoPoly.
I've had to bounce to audio for now & sidechain the audio, but thats not ideal as I want to be able to tweak parameters on the synth through the duration of songs. Any ideas appreciated?
Cheers
