Ok, so I love my new KP3 so much .... i'm thinking of buying another.
Has anyone tried sync'ing two of them together ?
KP3-1 Audio Out -> KP3-2 Audio In
KP3-2 Audio Out -> Mixing desk
KP3-1 Midi Out -> KP3-2 Midi In
KP3-1 Midi Clock Master
KP3-2 Midi Clock Slave
Or alternatively, maybe the nice people at Korg would add an extra 12 sample banks ) |

Or the KAOSS "Station"!
Your signal flow above should work. I haven't played much with the KP3's actual clock signal and how good/bad it is...yet.
But keep in mind, you'll have to do the 'align' thing anyway - even with clock sync. Add another instrument to the equation and things could get tricky keeping both KP3's aligned at the same time. |

Yeah the flow will work, its how well the units will sync that concerns me.
Might put my pad thru its paces using cubase as the master and also as the slave, see how well it keeps sync. |

You know, I haven't even loaded the new OS yet. Let us know how it goes. |

First impressions of the midi clock timing with the new update are not great ....
Think i'll have to manually trigger each sample to start and stop using CC's on a midi track on the sequencer with the trigger type set to Type 3 (3.r.-) on the kaoss, at least that way the kaoss should work ok as a slave .... |
