Hello!

I am a newbie music maker and just inherited a Karma Korg.

I don't have the MW software, and I'm not sure if the floppy in the Karma has the default data on it.


I have a Macbook Pro 2.2GHz Core Duo

a Presonus Firebox (with midi in/out)

I have GarageBand and Cubase LE 1.0.10




I'm planning to purchase midi cables today.

Will I need special drivers to use the Karma with GarageBand?

Is there software that will let me play/send Midi songs to the Karma (I understand Garageband doesn't do this)?


Where can I get a copy of the original Floppy Disk that comes with the Karma?

Do I need to buy the MW software? How useful will it be to me?

Any help appreciated! I'm a little overwhelmed and heading on retreat for a month and would like to be able to play and learn while gone.
